Join us for a great day of celebration and patriotism in and around downtown Culpeper on July 4, 2011. The Independence Day Celebration is a safe, fun, and affordable event that represents not only our heritage, but also a strong sense of community spirit. The day's events will include sporting events, patriotic speeches, a festive parade, CRI's 4th of July Car & Bike Show amusements for children and adults, a Battle of the Bands and of course FIREWORKS that will delight everyone!

Invite your friends and family members for this very popular event in Culpeper. Last year it was estimated that nearly 10,000 people attended our celebrations. Rain date for Fireworks only : Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

(In the event of inclement weather on the 4th, the Parade and all Park activities except the fireworks will be cancelled. The Freedom 5K will run rain or shine on the 4th.)
